What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? Real estate is inherently cyclical, and my clients – developers, investors, lenders, and operators – often have personal wealth deeply intertwined with their projects. That reality demands more than technical legal skill; it requires genuine partnership.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? I’m most proud of stepping into a newly established leadership role at TerraCRG and helping shape the firm’s sales operations function during a key growth phase.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? I’m especially proud of helping advance projects such as Ruby Square and Archer Towers II, which together will deliver over 1,000 mixed-income and affordable homes in Jamaica, Queens.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? As leader of Nutter’s NYC land use group, I oversaw the sale of a global energy company’s multi-acre parcel on a tight three-month timeline.

One initiative I’m most proud of is building out our air rights platform at BKREA. When I started, there wasn’t a clear, centralized approach to tracking or marketing these opportunities.

One recent accomplishment I’m especially proud of is the groundbreaking of East Shore Road Multi-Family in Great Neck. We first began designing the project in 2020, and it’s especially rewarding to see that early vision now moving into construction.
What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? One major challenge I faced as a leader recently was guiding a team through a project that was losing momentum. Morale was low, communication had broken down, and trust needed rebuilding.

I’m most proud of advancing our hospitality-first approach across the Sage portfolio, reimagining our properties to operate like high-end hotels where service, design, and daily experience are intentional at every touchpoint.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? Along with my partner Adam Kopald, I co-led the Goodwin team that advised Newbond Holdings on the $408 million acquisition of two of San Francisco’s largest and most recognizable hotels: the Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55 San Francisco – A Hilton Hotel.

At CLA, I am proud to have led the expansion of our Northeast cost segregation practice, helping build a strong, sustainable presence across New York and the greater Northeast. When renting a home, the biggest question is always “Will I be approved?” For decades, that answer has depended on slow, manual reviews by leasing teams, often taking days.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? The best compliment you can get from a client is being sent another deal. Recently, I was introduced to a new opportunity before we even closed the current transaction.
