2026 Developing Long Island: ERG Commercial Real Estate launches its new Retail Leasing division

Salvatore Iuvara

North Hempstead, NY ERG Retail Leasing is the dedicated leasing division of ERG Commercial Real Estate, an established full-service commercial real estate brokerage for over 35 years.

Led by Salvatore Iuvara, ERG Retail Leasing handles both landlord and tenant representation heavily focused on Long Island. The division was established to provide specialized expertise to property owners seeking to maximize value and stability, as well as tenants looking to secure strategic locations for long-term business growth. ERG has historically leased its own internal properties, renting to numerous national tenants across its Long Island and NYC portfolio. From boutique Manhattan storefronts to big-box retail space on Long Island, ERG’s guidance helps navigate every layer of the deal. Additionally, they serve as landlord to one of the first medical marijuana tenants in New York State, highlighting their ability to identify opportunity in such an emerging industry. We are now capitalizing on this experience and success to offer our leasing services to the market. “Our goal is to create a platform that further leverages our services for our strong clientele,” said Salvatore. “We are particularly excited to target Long Island, given that significant capital continues to flow into the market, and many neighborhoods are experiencing meaningful transformation.”

Backed by the experience, relationships, and resources of ERG Commercial Real Estate, ERG Retail Leasing delivers comprehensive market analysis, targeted tenant outreach, firm lease negotiations, and specific advisory services.
