What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?

Our office closed a $90 million mortgage loan for a borrower secured by a mixed-use condominium building in New York City with preferred equity from overseas that required collaboration among a number of practice groups including Real Estate, Banking and Financing, Corporate and Tax. I found this to be the most rewarding deal due to the teamwork and ability of our attorneys to seamlessly handle different aspects of the transaction and get the deal closed.

What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?

Develop a strong skill set, keep learning, go to the events, network, get yourself out there; you never know when the right conversation with the right person will happen. Keep connected to your peers, they may not be the ones making the decisions now, but when they are, you want them to think of you and your ability to help them with their real estate needs.
