2026 Women in Commercial Real Estate: Renee Rattray, Reidy Contracting Group

Renee Rattray
Senior Project Manager
Reidy Contracting Group

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?

The most rewarding project I’ve worked on over the past 12 months was the Lab project. Delivering it on schedule was a great achievement, but what stands out most is how much our team grew throughout the process. We faced challenges, evolving priorities, and demanding deadlines, yet everyone stepped outside their roles, shared knowledge, and trusted one another. The project reinforced that strong relationships, collaboration, and team culture are just as important as technical expertise. When you build a strong team, the results naturally follow.

What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?

Know that you absolutely belong here. Stay curious, ask questions, and never stop learning. Every meeting, project, and challenge is an opportunity to grow. Focus on being prepared, reliable, and consistent — your work will speak for itself. Build strong relationships, treat everyone with respect, and don’t wait for permission to lead. Most importantly, don’t change who you are to fit the industry. Your perspective is valuable, and every challenge will make you stronger.
