How has NYREJ helped you, your firm or your industry? Several years ago, the NYREJ published a two-part article of mine on the “Pitfalls of Subdivision Applications on Long Island”. The articles turn up regularly in Google searches on the topic. I have gotten several clients from referring attorneys who read those articles online, even all these years later.

How has NYREJ helped you, your firm or your industry? NYREJ has broadened my view into the New York real estate market’s events and trends. As a litigator who tends to focus on cases in select areas of the industry, NYREJ has become a key resource for following developments in other types of cases.

When did you discover NYREJ and what was your title and company name at that time? I became aware of NYREJ when I started out in commercial real estate back in 2004 at Newmark as an associate retail broker. I found it to be a valuable source of news as I was transitioning from nightlife to real estate and immersing myself in all facets of the industry.

Most memorable “15 minutes of fame” in NYREJ: In addition to being recognized for my accomplishments as a woman professional in commercial real estate, my most memorable “15 minutes of fame” in NYREJ includes having several of my projects and articles published.

When did you discover NYREJ and what was your title and company name at that time? When I started my own company in 2009, I met Kristine Wolf at a networking event and she enlightened me about NYREJ.

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? Wesbuilt’s latest project in the industrial market segment is the redevelopment of the 260,000 s/f 32-02 Queens Blvd. property in Queens. Our estimating department continuously advised the client on pricing and technical options
