What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront?Being a successful attorney involves creativity and pragmatism, especially when practicing in the ever-changing employment law landscape. There is no “one size fits all” approach to advising clients.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? One project I’m most proud of is the Dealertrack headquarters in New Hyde Park, NY. This fast-track, built-to-suit lease was completed in just three weeks, right before COVID hit.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? The project I’m most proud of is the Cornell Tech Roosevelt Island campus. I was part of the design team for the central utility plant, which provides power to the rest of the buildings on the campus.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I had the opportunity to manage the full construction of an affordable housing project in the South Bronx. We were able to elevate it from the traditional affordable housing project with community-focused amenities and a modern, welcoming lobby.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I climbed from intern to CEO at Bright Power in just over a decade. Early on, I co-founded two divisions within the company that provide building system commissioning and high performance building consulting for ground-up new construction projects.
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I am really proud of our work on the Gail P. Duke Senior Residence in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The project is a 13-story building with an older adult center on the ground floor

I loved working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art early in my career–unlike other projects, those spaces have not been renovated again and incorporated unique bespoke features!
What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? BlackRock’s new offices at 50 Hudson Yards required Platinum certification from the beginning of this large, multi-year project. Platinum projects cannot let LEED requirements slip through cracks.
