2025 Women in CRE: Stephanie Rose Stallone-Britton, Rosenbaum Design Group Architecture

Stephanie Rose Stallone-Britton
Project Manager
Rosenbaum Design Group Architecture

What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why?

The most rewarding project I have worked on in my career would be “Stop & Shop” supermarket, located in Greenburgh, New York. This was my first project as a project manager, which started in 2010. We utilized both masonry and metal stud framing, and focused detailing for LEED certification. I learned from this project how to improve energy efficiency which reduces heating and cooling costs and exceeds energy codes. Also, working with a strong architectural team and experienced consultants can help streamline the process and maximize the project’s sustainability potential.

What skill or quality do you believe is essential for success in your field today?

I believe problem solving skills are essential for success in the architectural field. Architects are constantly faced with complex challenges, from design limitations to budget constraints and client needs, and their ability to find innovative and practical solutions is crucial for success. We need to be adept to critical, creative, and collaborative thinking to navigate these complexities. Essentially, problem solving is the core of an architect’s work, enabling them to transform challenges into successful and innovative built environments.
