What is your top advice for someone just starting out in your field? Your reputation is your most valuable asset - this includes both your professional reputation (the quality of your work) and your personal brand (the quality of your person). It can take a long time to build your reputation, so be patient.

I am most proud of brokering the $52.6 million sale of Rising Ground’s 28-acre Leake & Watts campus — leading the nonprofit through a transformational mission-aligned real estate strategy. What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? As a Partner at Cassin, I’m proud of my work on a NYC housing project through the PACT Preservation Program. It involved 43 parcels, 650 units, and complex financing with multiple stakeholders. The deal addressed 20 years of capital needs and preserved affordable housing for 1,000 residents.
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? The project I am most proud of has yet to break ground but holds immense significance. The Elizabeth Seton Children’s Young Adult Center in White Plains, NY, is a pioneering specialized care facility for young adults with complex medical needs.
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? The project I am most proud of is a project that is almost completed at Princeton University, the ES+SEAS buildings. I am so proud of this project for two reasons. The first being that I learned so much from being a part of the design team.

I try to follow a lot of the advice I have heard given—and that has been given to me—by mentors and from leaders across our industry: ask a lot of questions, say “yes,” wake up early, be a sponge, ask more questions, listen, listen, listen.
What is your top advice for someone just starting out in your field? If I could offer one piece of advice to someone just starting out, it would be this: Don’t rush — step back and see the full picture first. Before diving into a bid, take the time to understand the scope of the project.

A recent project I am very proud to have worked on involved the development and construction of an approximately $250 million mixed-use project consisting of over 300 mixed-income apartments, including federal low-income housing tax credit units,
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? A recent milestone that I was most proud of was the closing of my first deal. The deal involved helping my relatives’s former boss sell their Manhattan property, which was a significant accomplishment. My relatives trust in my ability to represent our family’s name and work
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? I’ve been proud to support Bungalow Projects as they bring a major new film and TV production hub to Brooklyn. The projects were awarded NYC Industrial Development Agency (IDA) benefits earlier this year and will result in more than $500 million in capital investment.
