New York Commercial R.E. Women Network elects 2008 officers

New York Commercial Real Estate Women Network (NYCREW Network), a leading commercial real estate association in the New York metro area, has elected its officers and board of directors for 2008. NYCREW's 2008 officers are Anna Cassan de Valry of Barclays Capital, president; Elizabeth Muskat, Ferzan, Robbins & Associates, LLC, president elect; Kate Stentebjerg-Olesen, HSBC Bank, USA, N.A., treasurer; and Karen Ramos, ING Real Estate Finance (USA) LLC, secretary. Other members of NYCREW's Board of Directors for 2008 are Wendy Berger, Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard, P.A.; Joan Berkowitz, The Community Development Trust Inc.; Jeannette Boccini, LVM Group Inc.; Faith Hope Consolo, Prudential Douglas Elliman; Patricia Lopinski, Chicago Title Insurance Company; and Lydia Sklar, Sklar Realty Group Inc. "Our 2008 board members are an extremely bright and talented group of real estate women, who are deeply committed to the organization and its continued growth," said Karen Nickerson, immediate past president of NYCREW and vice president/senior credit officer at Moody's Investors Services, Inc. "Their drive and commitment will undoubtedly advance NYCREW and its mission in the coming year." NYCREW Network, Inc., founded in 2001, is the New York metropolitan area chapter of CREW Network, which was founded in 1989 as a national professional commercial real estate association. CREW Network currently has over 7,000 senior real estate professionals as members, and 65 affiliate chapters in North America. More than half of CREW's current members are presidents, CEO's, partners or senior managers of their companies. CREW's ultimate vision is the achievement of parity for women in commercial real estate, which is accomplished through its mission of advancing the success of women in that field through power, influence and opportunity.
