Morrison relocates North American headquarters to 8,000 s/f at Rockefeller Center

Manhattan, NY According to Tishman Speyer, global infrastructure firm Morrison has relocated its New York office, and North America headquarters, to 600 Fifth Ave. at Rockefeller Center. The new 8,000 s/f office space, located on the 22nd floor of 600 Fifth Ave., is now home to 25 members of the Morrison global team.

In leasing the new space, Morrison was represented by CBRE, Inc.

600 Fifth Ave. is a 26-story class A office building located on the corner of West 48th St. and 5th Ave. Office customers have full access to Tishman Speyer’s pioneering ZO amenity platform, which offers Global Access to clubhouses, wellness and quality of life services, and exclusive experiences located at Tishman Speyer properties around the world. At Rockefeller Center, ZO amenities include Radio Park, a 24,000 s/f green space on the roof of Radio City Music Hall; access to attractions such as The Rink and The Beam; and perks at retailers such as Catbird and Rough Trade, as well as dining options including Smith & Mills and The Tipsy Baker.

Rockefeller Center is a global icon, built nearly a century ago as a “city within the city.” Today, under the stewardship of owner and operator Tishman Speyer, its collection of art deco buildings surrounding the world-renowned plaza and Rink together comprise the city’s most dynamic destination to work, play, dine, and shop. The Center has embarked on a revitalization to deepen the unparalleled sense of New York City soul on campus and now offers art, shopping, dining, leisure, and entertainment experiences from the city’s brightest and most creative talents.

“We are honored to have Morrison join the prestigious ranks of international firms who recognize that Rockefeller Center is the best place in New York City to establish a North American presence,” said EB Kelly, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer and head of Rockefeller Center. “As Morrison settles in, we look forward to introducing their team to the art, design, dining, shopping, and attractions that make Rockefeller Center both a global icon and the city’s most dynamic place to work.”

Founded in New Zealand in 1988, Morrison has been a pioneer in infrastructure investing for more than three decades. As a long-term thematic investor, Morrison aims to identify investment opportunities that will benefit from long-term trends linked to the evolving needs of societies and economies. These include the energy transition, connectivity and digitization, global mobility, aging populations, and the circular economy. Today, Morrison has one of the largest specialist infrastructure teams with more than 200 professionals operating across seven global offices.
