Overview
This annual feature recognizes standout emerging professionals whose drive, talent, and fresh perspective are helping shape the future of New York’s commercial real estate industry. It’s an opportunity to spotlight the individuals on the rise within your organization and share their achievements and outlook with NYREJ’s influential audience of CRE professionals.

Who Qualifies
Rising Stars are early- to mid-career professionals within a CRE firm or an organization that supports the industry through its services. This includes up-and-coming team members who have demonstrated strong performance, initiative, and meaningful contributions to their firms and communities. Offices of record must be located in New York, or within 75 miles of NYC and each firm may recognize one Rising Star. 

Below are the participation options and key dates for the 2026 Rising Stars Spotlight.

Key Dates

- Profiles (Individual + Team): June 15
- Advertising and Team Reservations: ASAP
- Advertising Materials Due:  June 22
- Publication Date:  June 30

Ways to Participate

1. Individual Rising Star Profile — No Cost

Recognize one professional from your firm by submitting a Rising Star profile through our Q&A form.

• All approved profiles are published online
• Select profiles are featured in the print and digital editions

Connect Members: Guaranteed print and digital placement
Note:
Adding a Recognition Ad guarantees placement for non-members as well.

2. Custom Team Feature Pages (New for 2026)

Highlight multiple Rising Stars from your firm in a single, branded layout.

Each participant submits an individual profile, which is then presented together as a cohesive team feature with integrated advertising.
