Weld of Colliers ABR reps. William Vitacco Associates in 14,966 s/f lease

Colliers ABR, Inc., a leading full service commercial real estate services firm, has completed a lease with William Vitacco Associates, Ltd., building and zoning law consultants, which has signed a 10-year lease for 14,966 s/f at 299 Bdwy. William Vitacco Associates will move from 291 Bdwy. and more than double its space, taking over the entire 5th floor at 299 Bdwy. Brian Weld, managing director, Colliers ABR, represented William Vitacco Associates, Ltd. The landlord, 299 Bdwy. LLC was represented internally by Steven Marvin, executive managing director of Olmstead Properties Inc., managing agent of the building. "We are seeing tough negotiations as a reflection of the rising demand for downtown space," said Brian Weld. "We were happy to work with William Vitacco Associates to meet their expansion requirements while satisfying their need to be on one floor and remain close to the Department of Buildings. Olmstead Properties is planning a number of improvements to the property which solidified their position as our top choice. Securing the space at 299 Bdwy. means Vitacco Associates remains directly across the street from the Department of Buildings, saving the staff hours of transit time per week."
