The Sutton Companies brokers $4.2m in sales and 36,635 s/f in leases

The Sutton Companies, one of the most respected property management and real estate firms in Central New York, provides excellent service for a wide range of development, real estate and property management projects in the greater Central New York area. Recent sales brokered by management and staff have totaled $4.2 million, while more than 36,635 s/f in leases have been negotiated. Bart Feinberg, recently brokered the $3 million purchase of Plainville Farms, LLC 74,000 s/f Freezer and Distribution facility located at 7066 Interstate Island Road, Baldwinsville, NY to the Food Bank of Central New York (represented by Jeff Kelsen of Allegiance). The Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization working to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education and advocacy in cooperation with the community. They serve 476 different member programs in the 11 county region of Central New York. Martin Merola, director of brokerage for Sutton represented the owner Merrem Properties and Joseph Lewis, vice president of sales for the company represented SUNY Oasis/Healthlinks on a 10 year lease for 11,589 s/f located in Dewitt. The location which once housed Telergy, will be used by SUNY Oasis/Healthlink for offices and an education center. President of the Sutton Companies, Louis Fournier, represented The Green Planet Grocery in their five year, 5,000 s/f lease of the Fairmount location. The Green Planet Grocery specializes in natural and organic foods and supplements. Green Planet operates a similar store in Oswego, N.Y. Joanne Lippert of the firm's property management team represented the Crouse Irving Physicians Office Building on leases with Upstate Medical University that total 5,046 s/f. Kenneth Tyminski of the Sutton sales team brokered the lease of 15,000 s/f at 1 Lepage Place, Syracuse to New York Bakery. Originally founded in 1927 the company was purchased by its current owners in 1977. New York Bakery supplies product to retail operations throughout Central New York. Terry McClurkin exclusively brokered the $1.2 million sale of the NYS Police in Barracks in Governeur, NY between the seller, DHC of Governeur of Saratoga, N.Y. and Roger Alexander of Saratoga, New York.
