TerraCRG unveils keynote panel for the 2016 Only Brooklyn Real Estate Summit

Brooklyn, NY TerraCRG’s sixth annual Only Brooklyn Real Estate Summit, which will be held on June 1st  at BAM – Brooklyn Academy of Music, will connect hundreds of industry professionals interested in the Brooklyn market. At this full-day conference, attendees will hear in-depth analyses on the current and future outlooks of Brooklyn, with all sectors of real estate being represented - from multifamily lenders and investors, developer spotlights, the luxury townhouse market, infrastructure creating buzz in the borough and much more. This year, according to TerraCRG, in partnership with Compass and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Michael Stoler of The Stoler Report will kick off the event moderating the morning keynote panel. Michael Stern, founder and managing partner of JDS Development Group, and Michael Rudin, Vice President of Rudin Management, will join the panel, discussing their paramount Brooklyn projects. Rudin Management recently began construction on Dock 72, a 675,000 s/f tech and innovation building located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This $380 million project is part of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s plan to drive job growth in the area. Alternatively, JDS Development is the developer of the soon to be tallest tower in Brooklyn – 9 DeKalb Ave. The 73-story, residential tower will be home to over 500 units, anchored by retail. The three Michael’s will expand on these projects and their impact on the future of Brooklyn. “We are thrilled to have Michael Stoler, Michael Rudin and Michael Stern kick off our full-day event. This year’s speaker lineup, full of some of Brooklyn’s most influential market leaders, and diverse panel topics ensure the most in-depth knowledge will be shared at the 2016 Only Brooklyn Summit” said Ofer Cohen, founder and president of TerraCRG. As the second quarter of 2016 comes to a close, Brooklyn’s commercial real estate market continues to see some of the most noteworthy transactions and media headlines in the market, including the sale of the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ Watchtower buildings, the L train shutdown, the revisit of the East River gondola, East New York rezoning and the new plans for the “Brooklyn Strand.” TerraCRG’s Only Brooklyn conference serves as a platform for investors, owners, developers, financiers and deal-makers to learn first-hand about these topics, and to network with Brooklyn’s thought leaders. “The Only Brooklyn Real Estate Summit is a must-attend event for everyone in the real estate industry – it’s where great connections can be made and vital information and advice will be shared. Brooklyn’s real estate market continues to boom, and we have the perfect panel and guest speakers to talk about our borough’s future. The Brooklyn Chamber is proud to partner with TerraCRG and Compass on this summit, and we look forward to an incredible event,” said Carlo Scissura, Featured speakers at the event will include Tucker Reed of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, Susi Yu of Forest City Ratner Companies, AJ Pires of Alloy Development, Melissa Pianko of Gotham Organization, Sukanya Paciorek of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation, Tim Quinlan of Quinlan Development Group and many more. For the full list of speakers and attending firms, please visit onlybklyn.com.
