In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? For 36 years, I have been an attorney with Koeppel Martone & Leistman, L.L.C., a firm that concentrates in real estate tax certiorari. KML has merged with the distinguished firm of Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP.
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? I received a call from a prospective commercial landlord client, who found me while reading various blogs on the internet. She came across one I wrote that resonated with her situation.
strong>In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? Part of the team that analyzed and arranged the $350 million sale of a Bronx affordable housing portfolio (48 buildings,1,904 units) on behalf of 40+ year ownership.
In the last 12 months, what ONE award were you most proud to receive? Who’s Who in Women In Professional Services. It’s always an honor to be recognized for your work and the other women on the list are business leaders that I admire tremendously.
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? In addition to being the regional legal counsel for Gensler’s Northeast offices, I recently became the co-chair of the firm’s internal Global Race and Diversity Committee
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? Leading and successfully closing a package of thirteen loans over the span of two days while experiencing a power-outage.
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight?While the world faced unprecedented challenges, my team and I put our heads down and got to work. I successfully sold several prominent properties at record prices.
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? I was recently appointed as chair of the Touro Law Center Board of Governors. I have been an active member of the Board for several years and have donated to the school for scholarships and other initiatives.
In the last 12 months, what was your TOP career highlight? My top career highlight in the last twelve months has been seeing one of our residential projects, Anagram Nomad, come to life after the pandemic.
What advice would you give the next generation of women in your industry? Throughout my career as a commercial broker I was fortunate to have an All Star class of mentors that I considered “My cheat sheet to life.” I truly believe you need to be a sponge and absorb as much relevant information as possible and to learn as much as you can.
