NYCREW honors achievements and contributions of six members

More than 100 NYCREW members and guests recently attended New York Commercial Real Estate Women's (NYCREW Network) Winter Holiday Gala at Astra at the D&D Building, 979 Third Ave. The evening event recognized the many successes NYCREW and its members have achieved, setting the stage for future accomplishments. NYCREW also recognized the achievements and contributions to NYCREW of six of its dedicated members through the presentation of its annual Vanguard Awards. NYCREW's 2007 Vanguard Award winners, selected by fellow NYCREW members, are: * APEX Award for Overall Contributions to the NYCREW community: NYCREW past president and board member, Barbara Champoux, Esq., partner of Sonnenchein Nath & Rosenthal LLP; * Asset Preservation Award for Mentoring: Wendy Berger, NYCREW sponsorship co-committee chairperson and partner of Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman, & Leonard; and Karen Dome, programs co-committee chairperson and principal of Justdan Realty; * EMG Award for Professionalism: NYCREW immediate past-president Karen Nickerson, vice president and senior credit officer of Moody's Investors Service, Inc., and NYCREW president Anna Cassan de Valry, associate director of Barclays Capital; and * Prudential Douglas Elliman Award for Winning Referrals: NYCREW communications co-committee chairperson Deena Baikowitz, director of business development, STUDIOS Architecture.
