New Destiny Housing Corp. to host Annual Cocktail Benefit Mar. 5

On Wednesday, March 5, New Destiny Housing Corp. will host its Annual Cocktail Benefit at the New York Athletic Club (180 Central Park South) from 6 to 8 p.m. The honorees are Deborah Van Amerongen, commissioner, NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal; Scott Stringer, Manhattan borough president; Maurice Vaughn, managing director, Omni New York LLC and Albert Butzel, New Destiny board member. "New Destiny is fortunate to be honoring four individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the expansion and preservation of affordable housing in New York City," said executive director Carol Corden. New Destiny Housing Corp. promotes the long-term security and stability of low-income families at risk of domestic violence and homelessness by providing housing and services.
