Marcus & Millichap arranges sale of 373-unit self-storage

New Windsor, NY Marcus & Millichap negotiated the sale of Lock Around the Clock, a 373-unit self-storage property.

“It’s great to have sold another stabilized asset to an out-of-state buyer for top dollar in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley region,” said Luke Dawley, senior associate. “This sale highlights the strength of the storage market in the area, even amid challenging overall market conditions.”

Dawley, Gabriel Coe, Nathan Coe and Brett Hatcher, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Sloop Hill Associates LLC. John Horowitz is Marcus & Millichap’s broker of record in New York.

Lock Around the Clock is located on 3.3 acres at 8 Sloop Hill Rd., about 45 miles north of New York City. Built in 2002, the facility features 126 climate-controlled units, 213 non-climate-controlled units, 31 outdoor parking spaces, two apartments, and one garage, spanning a total of 32,725 s/f.
