Koukou and Newton of Lee & Assocs. represent American Outcomes Management in 13,614 s/f lease at Industry City

Brooklyn, NY Industry City, the 35-acre mixed-use complex comprising sixteen waterfront buildings in Sunset Park, said that American Outcomes Management LP (AOM), a leading specialty infusion provider focused on intravenous immunoglobin (IVIG) infusion therapy, signed a seven-year lease for 13,614 s/f at the campus. Located in Building 6, AOM’s Industry City space will feature labs and patient care facilities. AOM will move into its new space in October 2023.

Kelly Koukou and David Newton from Lee & Associates NYC represented AOM in the transaction. Nick Shears and Jeff Fein of Industry City represented the landlord.

“AOM Infusion has experienced exceptional growth in the last 17 months, and with our brand refresh, the time was right to find a more dynamic location within NYC,” said Keyur Mehta, chief executive officer of AOM Infusion. “Our new state-of-the-art, specialty infusion pharmacy aligns with our mission to improve health and enhance life. We are excited that Industry City in Brooklyn offers our patients and teammates an ecosystem of creativity and innovation.”

AOM provides home-based IVIG therapy to patients with over 80 different chronic conditions, with long-term treatment administered by skilled infusion nurses. The company also provides support services, including pharmacy services, referral management, insurance verification and patient education and training. AOM was founded in 1994 and holds pharmacy licenses in all 50 states.

“Industry City is proud to provide our bioscience tenants with the flexibility and build-out support needed for business growth,” said Jeff Fein, senior vice president of leasing at Industry City. “In addition to building out a cleanroom for AOM, our welcoming campus atmosphere will serve as a gateway for patients visiting AOM’s care facilities. We are committed to partnering with life sciences tenants to create spaces integrating advanced technology with campus hospitality.”

AOM is part of the rapidly-growing Innovation Campus at Industry City comprising industry-disrupting biotech and life sciences businesses, including Aanika Biosciences, Cresilon, Melonfrost, and lab space for NYU Langone Health, one of the nation’s premiere academic medical centers. To date, biotech and life sciences tenants occupy more than 155,000 s/f of space in the upper floors of Industry City.

“We’re thrilled to facilitate American Outcomes Management’s move to Industry City as the first home infusion manufacturer in the south Brooklyn area,” said Koukou, executive managing director and principal at Lee & Associates NYC.
