JLL to manage NYU Langone Medical Center

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) was selected by NYU Langone Medical Center to manage its new outpatient surgery center at 333 East 38 St. The team overseeing the assignment is led by Paul Mas, executive VP, and includes Scott Robinson, senior VP, Richard Molfese, general manager, all with the company's N.Y. office, along with healthcare specialists William Conkling, senior VP, with its Washington, D.C. office, and Bob Wykoff, general manager, with its Cleveland office. "This is the first surgical facility that NYU Langone Medical Center has established off-site from its campus," said Mas. "In selecting a partner to assist in the management of the facility, it was crucial for the hospital to find a company that had the specific healthcare expertise and breadth of services to augment its in-house real estate and facilities management capabilities. Rather than simply substitute for staff support, they wanted a partner with a genuine value-added proposition. This is an exciting and important project for both NYU Langone Medical Center and for Jones Lang LaSalle." Jones Lang LaSalle will provide a complete range of property management services for the entire center, including infrastructure and systems maintenance and the day-to-day operation of the facility. The recently completed outpatient surgery center features four operating rooms and a 12-bed post-anesthesia care unit for patient recovery.
