Cushman & Wakefield arrange 3,766 s/f lease for Molyvos Restaurant at 402 West 43rd St.

New York, NY Cushman & Wakefield's real estate services firm has arranged a long-term, 3,766 s/f lease for Molyvos, a Greek restaurant, at 402 West 43rd St. The tenant will occupy the ground floor and basement area.

"The Livanos Family is very excited to have the opportunity to continue the legacy of Molyvos Restaurant in its new Midtown West location,” said Nick Livanos of the Livanos Restaurant Group. The space on West 43rd St. was the former home to Esca, a restaurant we frequented and loved, so for us this was a serendipitous find. Molyvos is our hometown in Greece and continuing the namesake of our dad's place of birth could not be more thrilling for us. We look forward to welcoming our existing clientele and to making new friends."

Cushman & Wakefield’s Sean Moran, Patrick O’Rourke and Catherine Merck represented the landlord, Related Companies, in the transaction.

“We are pleased Molyvos found a new home after the formal closing of their location in the Wellington Hotel,” said Moran. “Molyvos was attracted to the best-in-class experience and ideal location in the heart of the theater district that 402 West 43rd offered them, allowing this deal to be closed in under 45 days.”

The new location is located in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood surrounded by retail, dining and entertainment options.

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home.
