Construction bid available for Riverfront Park redevelopment

Mayor Harry Tutunjian announced the construction bid for Riverfront Park redevelopment was issued August 15. The project involves the redevelopment of substantial elements of the 4.1 acre park that stretches from 1 Monument Square to Dinosaur Barbecue. Mayor Harry Tutunjian said, "The redevelopment of Riverfront Park is every bit as important to the future of Troy, from an economic development standpoint, as the projects at One Monument Square or City Station are. All of these developments are literally having a transformative effect and I'm excited yet another project is passing a significant milestone." After a series of public meetings where the ideas and input of residents who attended were taken into account, the City and consultants W Architecture have prepared a plan and developed detailed design documents for the redevelopment of Riverfront Park. The goals of the project are to improve the connections between the park and Troy's downtown; remedy existing design deficiencies and improve landscape aesthetics; and reorient the park to open views of the Hudson River from the park. Major elements that are part of the construction bid include site preparation and grading, planting of trees, shrubs, and perennials, construction of a 1,000 seat amphitheater, installation of an interactive water feature, and new lighting, among many other aspects. A total of $1.75 million has been obtained by the city to put towards the redevelopment.

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
