TF Cornerstone and RKF showcase retail space 90-100 Gansevoort Street

TF Cornerstone, together with Robert K. Futterman & Associates (RKF), hosted a broker event to showcase the retail space at 90-100 Gansevoort St., located at the base of the West Coast apartment building in the Meatpacking District. Nearly 100 brokers attended the event and toured the space - which is across from the new downtown Whitney Museum of Art, the High Line entrance, and Hudson River Park - while sipping cocktails and entering to win prizes courtesy of TF Cornerstone. "When repositioning the retail, we wanted to be sure that we maximized the space's potential by installing modern glass storefronts while retaining the unique features of the building," said Steve Gonzalez, director of retail leasing at TF Cornerstone. "The retail at 90-100 Gansevoort is now well-suited for a variety of tenants, from restaurants and galleries to furniture and apparel. Tenants will be able to capitalize on the massive amount of foot traffic in the area from tourists as well as those who live and work in the district. We look forward to seeing the continued transformation of the block with the opening of The Whitney." Newly renovated with all glass storefronts, the retail spaces at 90-100 Gansevoort offer dramatic views in and out, and provide a variety of size and configuration alternatives. The four spaces available range from 2,518 s/f to 7,406 s/f in size, with up to 160' of frontage on Gansevoort and West St. "The Meatpacking District is a premium retail destination with a number of top fashion retailers, entertainment venues and office tenants still flocking to the area, and we don't see that slowing down any time soon," said Karen Bellantoni, executive vice president at RKF. "With the High Line nearby and the new Whitney Museum set to make its debut next year, this is an area that's generating a lot of buzz and we expect strong interest for both spaces from fashion retailers to upscale restaurants alike." Surrounded by the city's trendiest retailers, chef-driven restaurants, and chic hotels, 90-100 Gansevoort enjoys an enviable location between Washington and West Sts. Prominent retail neighbors like Intermix, Christian Louboutin Men's, Zadig & Voltaire, Vince and Tory Burch, and proximity to hot spots such as The Standard, Gansevoort Hotel and Soho House, make this an ideal place for a variety of retailers.
