When I am not working, I am: Actively trying to see and experience as much of the world as humanly possible. I take advantage of every opportunity to travel. I’ve been to 35 countries (and counting) as of 2023. To build a deeper understanding and appreciation for different walks of life, a well-positioned itinerary should include visits to both developed and developing countries.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Last year marked TrueRate’s first full year of operation and I’m undoubtedly proud that our original team of three people sold just under $100 million of commercial real estate in that time frame and the foundation that has been built among our team to ensure long-term success for the new team members to come.

strong>What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Belveron Partners is focused on the creation and preservation of affordable housing throughout the United States. Since joining the Belveron Acquisitions team I have had the opportunity to lead the acquisition of over 5,000 units of mixed income, section 8 and LIHTC units.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? We recently completed a graphical and cultural revamp of our entire employment manual and migrated it to a digital platform. We also have a year full of exciting initiatives and experiences for our 30th Anniversary year which runs May 1st, 2023 – April 30, 2024.

Number of years at firm: 5  One thing on my bucket list: I want to travel on a safari to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. When I am not working, I am: spending time with friends and family, preferably at an Italian restaurant

Number of years at firm: 2  One thing on my bucket list: Experience every culture in the world.  When I am not working, I am: Traveling, volunteering, and reading.  What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Marketplace Senior Apartments, a 150-unit senior housing affordable apartment project.

Number of years at firm: 3.5 One thing on my bucket list: The thrill-seeking experience of skydiving! When I am not working, I am: Spending time with my two loyal dogs. Additionally, this spring I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Buffalo Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Citizens Academy Program with other prominent business and community leaders.

Number of years at firm: 3 One thing on my bucket list: Keep developing relationship with local vendors, supplier and talent in order to deepen our company’s involvement in North Central Brooklyn. When I am not working, I am: in the gym

Number of years at firm: 9 One thing on my bucket list: I have so many bucket list items not yet completed that are related to travel, but Safari in Africa is top of my list! When I am not working, I am: Traveling, hiking, reading, working out and spending time with my husband and three children. 

Number of years at firm: 6 When I am not working, I am: Spending time with friends, family, and our cat Cashew. One thing on my bucket list: Hiking all the high peaks in the Catskill Mountains.

Number of years at firm: 2.5 One thing on my bucket list: Be on Shark Tank! When I am not working, I am: Traveling! My family and friends live all across the US, so I try to visit them whenever possible. What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Through my role at Jafri Capital, I have been given the opportunity to lead the development of the Jafri Journal.
