SL Green signs two leases totaling 45,041 s/f

Manhattan, NY SL Green Realty Corp. has signed two new leases totaling 45,041 s/f at Tower 46, also known as 55 West 46th St. TravelClick has signed a 10-year, 22,518 s/f lease covering the entire 27th floor and Millburn Ridgefield Corp. has signed a 10-year, 22,523 s/f lease covering the entire 31st floor.

“The Midtown market continues to see strong interest in companies looking for high-quality class A office space with easy access to public transportation. Given existing and prospective tenants’ continued preference for new construction, Tower 46 has enjoyed strong leasing velocity,” said Steve Durels, executive VP and director of leasing and real property at SL Green.

CBRE’s Jason Gorman and Laurence Briody represented TravelClick, and CBRE’s Scott Gottlieb represented Millburn Ridgefield. The landlord was represented by Peter Turchin, James Ackerson, Sam Seiler, Christie Harle and Cara Chayet of CBRE on both deals.

Tower 46 is a 34-story, 347,855 s/f office tower that was recently completed in 2013. The building features column free floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, 14’ slab heights, a tenant-only fitness center and in-building parking. Other building tenants include Nixon Peabody, Comcast and Everest Reinsurance.
