When did you discover NYREJ and what was your title and company name at that time? I discovered NYREJ in 2011, when SMM Advertising gained a new client in the CRE business and started running advertising campaigns on their behalf to market various commercial properties they were offering for sale or auction.

How has NYREJ helped you, your firm or your industry? Several years ago, the NYREJ published a two-part article of mine on the “Pitfalls of Subdivision Applications on Long Island”. The articles turn up regularly in Google searches on the topic. I have gotten several clients from referring attorneys who read those articles online, even all these years later.

I became aware of NYREJ when I started out in commercial real estate back in 2004 at Newmark as an associate retail broker. I found it to be a valuable source of news as I was transitioning from nightlife to real estate and immersing myself in all facets of the industry.
