REBNY names Wolfe of Midboro as Residential Management Executive of the Year; Keynote speaker was Manhattan Borough President Stringer

Members from the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Residential Management Division came together on Wednesday, February 29 for the 14th annual Residential Management Leadership Awards Breakfast at the Roosevelt Hotel. Four hundred attendees turned out to support Michael Wolfe, president of Midboro Management, who was honored with the Residential Management Executive of the Year Award, and to see Manhattan Borough president Scott Stringer who was the keynote speaker. The Residential Management Executive of the Year Award is presented to an individual who exemplifies leadership and a commitment to the industry. Wolfe received the award for excellence in residential management, his longevity in the field and his commitment to the residential management community. His company manages more than 90 cooperative, condominium, rental and commercial properties and has been repeatedly recognized for its high quality of service. Wolfe has been a valued member of REBNY and the Residential Management Council since 1997 and chairs its Best Practices subcommittee. "REBNY is pleased to honor Michael as an excellent representative of the leadership that exists in residential management," said REBNY president Steven Spinola. "His experience and years of hard work have earned him this recognition. We are continually proud of the professionalism and leadership within the residential management division." During the keynote address of the morning, Stringer, discussed his agenda for the city. Specifically, Stringer addressed his efforts to help the middle class, his plans to help building owners phase out boilers burning #6 heating oil, and his work regarding ensuring the safety of stalled construction sites in Manhattan. During the breakfast, Anita Sapirman of Saparn Realty also took a moment to remember a friend and colleague, Steve Miller, who was a valued member of REBNY and the Residential Management Council. Miller was president of Plymouth Management. Sapirman presented a plaque to Miller's wife, Pam, in recognition of his service to the industry and to the council.
