Peretz, Baraf and Braun of Cushman & Wakefield broker 22,500 s/f lease

Cushman & Wakefield has completed a lease with White Fleischner & Fino LLP, an insurance and civil litigation law firm, which will relocate to 22,500 s/f at 61 Bdwy. The law firm will move from 140 Bdwy. White Fleischner & Fino signed a 10-year lease for the entire 18th floor of 61 Bdwy., located on the Northwest corner of Exchange Alley in the Financial West submarket of Downtown. Cushman & Wakefield brokerage professionals Andrew Peretz, Robert Baraf and Steven Braun represented White Fleischner & Fino in its site search and in lease negotiations with the landlord, Broad St. Development. The building owner was represented by Daniel Blanco, principal of Broad St. Development and Jill Burrowes, leasing associate for the organization's commercial leasing team. "White Fleischner & Fino remains committed to Downtown Manhattan," said Peretz, an executive director in Cushman & Wakefield's Downtown office. "This move to 61 Bdwy. positions the firm for its next decade of growth." Built in 1916, 61 Bdwy. is a 33-story, 650,000 s/f office tower located in the downtown business district. The property, currently 95% occupied, serves as executive headquarters to a wide-range of organizations telecommunications giant Verizon, labor union Professional Staff Congress and the National League of Nursing. The building attracts a variety of companies from small space users requiring pre-built and immediate occupancy opportunities to larger firms looking for flexible, contiguous space in the Downtown market and spectacular water and city views. "We are thrilled to have such a prominent firm as White Fleischner & Fino join our tenant roster at 61 Bdwy., a building in great demand in the Downtown district," said Blanco. "New tenants continue to be drawn to this property for its location, superior infrastructure and technological capabilities, and the great office opportunities available at the property." Founded in 1976, White Fleischner & Fino is headquartered in New York, with offices in New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boca Raton and London.
