Park Avenue provides building products to Bronx College Building

Park Avenue Building and Roofing Supplies, LLC (Park Avenue) recently provided building products and submittal services for the new 98,000 s/f North Instructional Building and Library at Bronx Community College. Park Avenue supplied Marino/WARE metal framing, Tremco below-grade waterproofing, USG fiberock interior panels and Vulcraft metal decking for the new building, designed to match the original classical-revival buildings on campus. The building was designed to achieve a silver LEED rating from the U.S. Green Building Council. "It was a pleasure to have Park Avenue as a resource for our projects. Whether dealing with submittals, materials or equipment, Park Avenue was always a phone call away with responsive results. Their submittal service is a tremendous asset to the company," said Luke Pantaleo, assistant project manager, TNS Management Services, Inc. The North Instructional Building was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. It will contain classrooms and a café on the first floor and a two-story library with a vaulted ceiling.
