Outside the Region: Korinis promoted to principal at Sabre Real Estate Group N.J.

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ According to Sabre Real Estate, Justin Korinis, a retail real estate specialist who has been a senior vice president in Sabre Real Estate Group’s New Jersey office since 2016, was promoted to principal.

Korinis has experience in multiple facets of retail real estate, including tenant representation, landlord representation, and property acquisition and disposition. He joined Sabre from Savills Studley two years ago in an effort to leverage a boutique platform that would better serve his clients. 

“Justin is a very well rounded, likable and hardworking person. Since joining Sabre, he has quickly grown along with our overall New Jersey business. His knowledge, integrity, morals and style are in concert with the Sabre culture,” said Jayson Siano, Managing Principal of Sabre.

Currently, Korinis is engaged in leasing and consulting assignment at Bell Works, a 2 million s/f mixed use building. A repurposing of the former Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, N.J. by Somerset Development, Korinis and his team are in charge of creating a viable retail destination in the “metroburb.” New concepts being brought into the project include a beer garden, chef-driven restaurants, and a “Fit Lab” composed of various boutique fitness concepts.

He also represents various restaurant groups and experiential-based retail concepts. Among his newest clients are Dos Toros Taqueria, a New York City based concept; Honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based, fast-casual healthy food chain; Uncle Julio’s, a full-service Mexican restaurant; Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza, and Philadelphia-based Urban Axes, an ax-throwing bar concept founded in Philadelphia. He also works with strong national brands like Skechers in their efforts to realign their real estate strategy with their long-term goals.

 “Justin’s presence fills the room and makes it an easy decision to place him in a leadership role” said James Aug, principal of Sabre.

Korinis holds a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Connecticut College, where he played on the varsity lacrosse team. He joined Savills Studley in 2006 as an industrial and office broker. Before joining Studley, he had a successful career as a senior mortgage banker with Ameriquest Mortgage.
