Ones To Watch: Innovators In Commercial Real Estate: Ryan MacDonald, Keller Augusta

Ryan MacDonald
Senior Director, Strategy & Operations
Keller Augusta

Innovation Highlight:

I’m most proud of how we’re rethinking business development. Working with an AI partner, we’re building our own intelligence platform from information we already have: our client relationships, market data providers, and industry news. Signals like deal closings aren’t new. What’s different is aggregating them automatically and delivering each recruiter tailored goals, with the resources to act, straight to their dashboard. Search firms will need this to stay ahead.

Innovation in Action:

We’re using AI as connective tissue across our work, so routine steps, like assembling relevant past assignments for a pitch, should happen automatically. The platform should combine market signals, client history, and past assignments into tailored business development goals for each recruiter, with draft outreach and supporting materials. The time we save should go to clients and candidates, deeper industry and search research, and new advisory services.
