Movshovich, Spillan and Amrich of CBRE to market two floors at 60 Madison Avenue

The Moinian Group has entered into a new partnership with CBRE Group Inc. to lease the entire 4th and 8th floors at 60 Madison Ave. The CBRE agency team of Michael Movshovich, Sam Spillane, and Paul Amrich will market the two floors on behalf of the owner/developer. A comprehensive Gensler-designed capital program is underway including a new lobby, elevators and entrance, which will complete the modernization of the 13-story, 195,000 s/f asset overlooking Madison Square Park. Moinian's signature technique of delicately blending a building's historic charm with high-end design aligns perfectly with the asset's location in Manhattan's Midtown South, one of the hottest real estate markets in the country. The fourth floor, totaling 18,783 s/f, features an existing, highly efficient open plan installation with an exposed ceiling creative feel and extensive infrastructure in place. The eighth floor, measuring 17,177 s/f, is demolished and offers a flexible floor plate suitable for an efficient open plan layout. Both floors have oversized windows providing abundant natural light and sweeping southern views overlooking Madison Square Park. "Having recently signed cross-platform marketing technology firm, Tapad, to lease the full 18,759 s/f 3rd floor and with the building's soon to be completed beautifully renovated lobby, we wanted to partner with an elite agency team who can deliver the quality of tenants befitting the remaining two prime available floors," said Gregg Weisser, senior vice president of leasing at The Moinian Group. "We have no doubt that Michael, Sam, and Paul will do a tremendous job for us. CBRE Group is a wonderful firm and we're excited to be working with them again." "Midtown South continues to attract a diverse mix of space users including technology and media firms, which continue to provide a tremendous growth engine for New York City," said CBRE's Movshovich. "60 Madison Ave. is ideally located on Madison Square Park, which offers a dynamic neighborhood rife with tenant amenities. We are excited to partner with The Moinian Group as they commit extensive capital to modernize the building offering tenants a tremendous opportunity with both classic architecture and the benefits of a modern infrastructure." The property at 60 Madison Ave. is within walking distance of some of New York City's most popular lunchtime eateries, including Eataly, Shake Shack, Gramercy Tavern, Craft, Mesa Grill, BLT Prime, and Zen Palate. The building is also nestled amongst some of the best hotels in Manhattan, including The NoMad Hotel, Ace Hotel, and Gansevoort Park Avenue NYC. Adding to the draw of this locale, 60 Madison Ave. is situated within immediate walking distance of six subways and the Path train, creating an ideal commuting environment for employees. For more than thirty years, The Moinian Group has strategically and continually invested early in premier office building locations, including Madison Square Park and the Flatiron office district. In addition to 60 Madison Ave., Moinian's Midtown South holdings include 450-460 Park Ave., 72 Madison Ave., and 245 Fifth Ave.
