Hartz Mountain unveils interactive map of its data center availabilities

Hartz Mountain Industries, Inc. has unveiled an interactive map of its data center sites available on its website, www.hartzmountain.com. The highlighted locations include Overpeck Center in Ridgefield Park, 5601 Westside Ave. in North Bergen, and two locations in Harmon Cove Industrial Park, Secaucus. Since the recent surge in the data center leases, Hartz Mountain has become one of the leading providers of data center facilities in the Northern New Jersey area and the featured buildings are well positioned immediately for such use. "The creation of the new interactive web-based map illustrates both the experience and commitment to this asset class. We are the largest owner of industrial buildings in the northern New Jersey region, poised to accommodate any tenant's needs," said Gus Milano, executive VP of finance and leasing at Hartz Mountain Industries. In addition to the vital location and accessibility offerings of their North Jersey locations, PSE&G is installing a new 69 KV power line, which will offer an abundance of power options to Hartz's properties in both Secaucus and North Bergen areas. For security purposes, both corporate users and third party providers prefer sites outside of urban cities, but the data centers require the infrastructure of an established city. In the case of New York City businesses, Secaucus is an outstanding location due to accessibility, power and fiber. Based on the requirements data centers necessitate, Hartz Mountain has designed the interactive map detailing each property. When a user clicks on a building it will showcase the square footage, electrical capacity, available fiber/telecom providers, floor load, ceiling height, parking, location/access, and additional features along with a detailed brochure of each property. Potential tenants may submit their requirements for data center space to Hartz Mountain leasing professionals via the website for an immediate response. Hartz Mountain Industries has played a large role in providing premier data center properties and solutions and will continue to do so. Recently, Hartz has signed a 163,537 s/f lease in North Bergen, a 324,654 s/f lease in Harmon Cove in Secaucus, and a 209,000 s/f lease at Lincoln Harbor in Weehawken. In total, the company currently owns eleven operating data center facilities in Hudson and Bergen Counties, many of which are home to multiple tenants.
