2026 Developing Queens: The Hana

Queens, NY The Hana is a newly completed 38-unit luxury rental and retail building at 215-20 Northern Blvd., marking one of the most ambitious ground-up multifamily projects ever delivered in Bayside. Developed by West Egg Development, the project sets a new design and amenity benchmark for eastern Queens, a submarket that has historically been overlooked in favor of LIC and Astoria, but is now seeing meaningful new investment as those western neighborhoods price out renters and developers alike.

The building features floor-to-ceiling glass throughout the residences, a fully equipped fitness center with sauna, a landscaped and furnished rooftop deck, and an attached parking garage. Ground-floor retail fronts Northern Blvd., one of the borough’s primary commercial corridors and a short walk from the Bayside LIRR station.

For West Egg Development, The Hana represents the firm’s largest project to date and the latest in a portfolio of nearly 20 outer-borough multifamily deals. The commercial space is already leased to national tenants. The building is currently awaiting its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, with residential leasing expected to commence shortly thereafter.
