Elan Condominiums selects aptandlofts.com as marketing/sales agent

After working with several Park Slope-based brokers, the developers of the Elan Condominiums have hired aptsandlofts.com to take over the marketing of the new, 32-unit development located on First St. between 4th and 5th Aves. As a new 12-story building, Elan offers oversized one bedroom, two-bedroom two-bath, and three-bedroom two-bath units ranging in size from 845 to 1,476 s/f. The apartments feature maple hardwood floors, washer/dryer hookups in each apartment, a Bosch stainless steel appliance package, and custom Italian Wenge wood cabinets with frosted glass and Blizzard Caesar Stone countertops. Bathrooms feature Hansa / Kohler fixtures, rain shower heads, Kohler deep soaking tubs and porcelain wall and floor tiles in the bathrooms. The building also has a part-time concierge, two elevators, a common roof deck with views of Manhattan, a common recreation room, storage and parking. "The exciting part is that construction on the property is complete and the apartments are available for immediate occupancy" said David Maundrell, president of aptsandlofts.com. "Additionally, the development is pending FHA approval, allowing down payments to be as low as 10%. " "We are very excited to build upon the success of having sold 556 5th Ave., which was our first condominium development in the Park Slope area. Elan is between Fifth and Fourth Ave.; it enjoys a fantastic location on a beautiful tree lined street and is in the PS 321 school district," said Steve Laurelli, director of on-site sales at aptsandlofts.com. Laurelli also marketed the NOVO and Crest developments for Corcoran Sunshine at the time. The Elan is in the brownstone district of Park Slope and is a half block from 5th Ave., which offers boutique shopping and an array of dining choices including easy walks to Stone Park Café, Al Di La Trattoria, Blue Ribbon and Blue Ribbon Sushi, Belleville, the Chip Shop, Restaurant Miriam and many others. The local school, PS 321 is consistently ranked one of New York's best public schools, with math scores of 77% and reading at 80.9%, which reflect the number of students who pass state exams. The property is also only five blocks from Prospect Park and offers easy access to Manhattan via the nearby R, F or M trains and is a block from the large playground at JJ Byrne Memorial Park. aptsandlofts.com is a six-year old marketing and sales firm handling residential and investment sales in Williamsburg, East Williamsburg, Long Island City, Greenpoint, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick, DUMBO and Astoria.
