Blair and Wang of FirstService Williams arrange 18,903 s/f lease

FirstService Williams has negotiated an 18,903 s/f, five-year, five-month lease for Assent LLC, which provides customized trading systems and support services to the financial industry. The firm will move into its new offices on the entire 32nd floor at 59 Maiden Ln. this January. The FirstService team of Harry Blair, executive managing director, and Greg Wang, director, handled the transaction for Assent. Brian Waterman of Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord. "Assent needed to consolidate several Manhattan locations in one place and 59 Maiden Ln. was the perfect location," said Blair. "The space was substantially built out with only minor work necessary, which will enable the firm to move in as soon as January. The building also has tremendous views and its owner, Amtrust Realty Corp., is a solid landlord." Constructed in 1965, 59 Maiden Ln. houses more than one million square feet on 44 floors. Other tenants in the building include financial firms such as The Home Insurance Co. and Spectrum Capital Partners as well as several state and city offices.
