Douglas Elliman Real Estate receives 5 wins at REBNY's 17th Annual Residential Deal of the Year Charity and Awards Gala

New York, NY Douglas Elliman Real Estate stole the show at the Real Estate Board of New York’s 17th Annual Residential Deal of the Year Charity and Awards Gala with 5 wins, more than any other firm. The event honored 15 of New York City’s most outstanding residential dealmakers, a third of them hailing from Douglas Elliman. The night’s winners included Corinne Pulitzer, Vickey Barron, Ann Marie Folan, Sharon Burroughs and Nick Sakalis. “I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of our agents who were recognized at this year’s awards,” said Dottie Herman, president & CEO of Douglas Elliman. “These wins serve as a perfect reflection of the immense creativity and talent here at Douglas Elliman.” Pulitzer was presented with this year’s Henry Forster Award for lifetime achievement, granted each year to an individual who has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the community. Pulitzer is one of Douglas Elliman’s top producing agents, selling and leasing luxury cooperatives, condominiums, and townhouses. During her time in the industry, Pulitzer has successfully closed many multi-million dollar transactions and developed a well-respected reputation amongst her clients and other real estate veterans. Barron is the first recipient of The Eileen Spinola Award for distinguished service. The award honors Eileen Spinola, REBNY’s recently retired Senior Vice President of Education and Brokerage Services. Going forward, REBNY will annually recognize a broker who has made major contributions by donating their time, expertise, and knowledge for the betterment of the industry. Barron has played a key role in the growth of the new development market in NYC by commanding and achieving record-breaking sales prices in the New York City market. Among The Residential Brokerage Division Deal of the Year Sales & Rental Awards, Folan and Ross Evangelista were presented with the first prize award for residential sales for their rigorous $1.2 deal on East 52nd Street. The apartment was the subject of one of the oldest running legal cases in NYC, posing many challenges for Folan and Evangelista and rightfully earning the two agents the “Deal of the Year” award. Additionally, Sharon Burroughs and co-broker Nick Sakalis were awarded the second prize in the residential sales category.
