Calamar hosts Mr. Food at the Woodlands Senior Village

Calamar was recently honored to feature Mr. Food (Art Ginsburg), a well known, nationally syndicated television personality and author of more than forty cook books made a guest appearance at The Woodlands Senior Village, an independent senior apartment complex for those 55 years and over, in The Woodlands Corporate Center East during a new resident information presentation. Mr. Food was invited to attend the resident seminar to inform and promote the Mr. Food "No Fuss Meals" that incorporate his philosophy of fast, easy, healthy meals that are conveniently pre-portioned, pre-packaged and completely prepared and delivered directly to their apartments in The Woodlands Senior Village to enjoy right away. The Woodlands Corporate Center currently houses a 110-unit senior community managed by Calamar with plans for a future 90-unit community, as well as a 48-unit senior community managed by People Inc. "This program by Mr. Food is only one of many services and amenities that we offer to our residents to bring affordability and convenience" said Sam Reeder, assistant director of Senior services for Calamar. "We are developing an exciting alternative to the "typical" model of independent apartment living." Mr. Food made his television debut in 1975 as the first TV chef to promote practical cooking and food preparation and has been creating recipes and sharing his unique brand of quick 'n' easy food tips and recipes with viewers across the country for over thirty years. Locally, there are three Mr. Food No Fuss Meals location in Amherst, Orchard Park and Williamsville. Calamar is a full-service real estate firm comprised of construction, development, property management and finance & investment divisions for commercial and large-scale residential properties in the northeast and midwest regions.
