Buslik and Schwartz of Adams & Co. broker a 12,083 s/f lease

Adams & Co. Real Estate brokered a five-year, 12,083 s/f lease at 11 E. 36th St. for JAKKS Pacific Inc. The space will be used for general and executive offices as well as showroom purposes. JAKKS Pacific is a multi-brand company that designs, develops, produces and markets toys, leisure products and writing instruments for children and adults around the world. The company markets its lines under various brand names including Play Along, Flying Colors and Creative Designs. James Buslik and Jeffrey Schwartz of Adams & Co. represented the landlord. Although details of the lease were undisclosed, the asking price for the space was $45 per s/f. "We believe this space, right on Madison Square Park, is perfect for JAKKS Pacific," said Schwartz. Built in 1912, the 21-story property boasts 24-access and USPS drop-off service. Notable tenants include Regency International, JHL American and Epic Brands. Retail tenants include The Gym, International Silver Company and Wallace Silversmiths. "We are pleased that JAKKS Pacific, a leader in the toy industry, has taken this space in the new Toy District," said Buslik. "The toy industry is an important part of New York City and we are pleased to place this fantastic company in this wonderful space."
