Brady and Delgorio of Jack Resnick & Sons broker 13,803 s/f office lease; Horowitz and Peck of Studley rep tenant, Standard Security

Standard Security Life Insurance Co. of New York, which has been headquartered at Jack Resnick & Sons' 25-story office tower at 485 Madison Ave. for 30 years, has again renewed its lease for the building's entire 13,803 s/f 14th floor. Daniel Horowitz, executive managing director and Jeffrey Peck, managing director of Studley represented the tenant in the five-year lease renewal while Dennis Brady, executive managing director and Fran Delgorio, managing director of Jack Resnick & Sons, represented the building owner. Founded in 1958, Standard Security Life Insurance Co. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Independence Holding Co., a NYSE listed corporation with principal interests in the life and health insurance business. A full service real estate organization, Jack Resnick & Sons has been an industry leader in development, construction, ownership and management since its founding in 1928. Its Manhattan portfolio currently includes approximately six million s/f of commercial office space, including its signature office tower at 110 East 59th St. It also has developed thousands of luxury residences and continues to own, manage and lease approximately 1,000 rental apartments.
