Members of Westchester County's commercial real estate industry joined together on May 2nd to honor Forest City Ratner Companies and Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center at the 22nd Annual Hall of Honor Awards Dinner. The two honorees were recognized for their contributions to Westchester's economy. The annual dinner was held at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown.

Based in Brooklyn, Forest City Ratner Companies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Forest City Enterprises, Inc. In Westchester, the company built the 1.3 million-square-foot Ridge Hill retail complex in Yonkers, a creatively designed destination featuring an eclectic mix of boutiques, national retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues. The complex, which opened in 2011, has as its anchor tenants Lord & Taylor, Whole Foods Market, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Dick's Sporting Goods, REI, and The Cheesecake Factory.
The 136-bed Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center was established in 1987 by the Sisters of Charity. It was founded to provide specialized medical and rehabilitative services to medically fragile children with complex clinical conditions and disabilities. Over time the Pediatric Center has evolved into a multi-location $65 million healthcare organization with a wide range of services including pediatric long-term care, special education and an Article 28 Clinic. Last year, the in-patient Center in Manhattan relocated to its new home, a state-of-the-art fully "green" building located on six and a half acre wooded site in Yonkers.
Yonkers Mayor Michael Spano was on hand to congratulate both honorees. Accepting the award for Forest City Ratner Companies was Executive Vice President Kathy Welch. Accepting for Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center was CEO Patricia Tursi. Michael Siegel of CBRE was the evening emcee.
In addition to the Hall of Honor Awards, awards were also presented for The Best of BOMA Signature Awards recognizing excellence in property management. The winners were:
