Members of Westchester County's commercial real estate industry joined together on May 2nd to honor Forest City Ratner Companies and Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center at the 22nd Annual Hall of Honor Awards Dinner. The two honorees were recognized for their contributions to Westchester's economy. The annual dinner was held at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown.

Based in Brooklyn, Forest City Ratner Companies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Forest City Enterprises, Inc. In Westchester, the company built the 1.3 million-square-foot Ridge Hill retail complex in Yonkers, a creatively designed destination featuring an eclectic mix of boutiques, national retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues. The 136-bed Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center was established in 1987 by the Sisters of Charity. It was founded to provide specialized medical and rehabilitative services to medically fragile children with complex clinical conditions and disabilities. Over time the Pediatric Center has evolved into a multi-location $65 million healthcare organization with a wide range of services including pediatric long-term care, special education and an Article 28 Clinic. Last year, the in-patient Center in Manhattan relocated to its new home, a state-of-the-art fully "green" building located on six and a half acre wooded site in Yonkers.
