Annual New York State Commercial Real Estate Conference June 13-15, 2016

We are pleased to announce that the 15th Annual NYS Commercial Real Estate Conference, sponsored by the NYS Commercial Association of Realtors, the NYS CCIM Chapter and the Society of Exchange Counselors, is scheduled June 13-15, 2016 at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel in Syracuse, NY. Guy Blake, CCIM, of Pyramid Brokerage is the conference chairman.

There will be a full day marketing investment session on Tuesday, June 14, moderated by James Wilson, CCIM SEC (Florida) and Charles Sutherland, SEC (Texas). This is a great session to network with your fellow colleagues and make a deal!

We are proud to have keynote speaker Duke Long, CCIM (Duke Long Agency, Indiana) who will moderate a panel to discuss how technology is changing the way commercial real estate professionals do business. The conference will also provide continuing education commercial courses on Wednesday, June 15. James Walker, CCIM will instruct “Introduction to Creative Marketing of Commercial Real Estate.” Dennis Porter (LaBella Assoc.) will moderate a panel on “Navigating Environmental Due Diligence - How to Align a Transaction for Success.” Patrick Reilly (VP board and member services, NYSAR) will present the code of ethics class (deadline for completion is December 31, 2016). Todd Kuhlmann, CCIM will instruct,“CRE Tech-Social Media and Property Analysis Best Practices.” Kuhlmann will also present a “High Tech Marketing” course sponsored by CCIM on June 13th.

In addition to the marketing investment session, keynote speaker and commercial courses, there will be round table discussions on Tuesday morning (June 14) which will be running just prior to the marketing session. Topics include: Solar tax credit, real estate donations, historic tax credit and new environmental changes.
