Barbara Kavovit
CEO
Evergreen Construction

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I have worked on several exciting and significant projects recently and it would be too hard to choose just one. I am mostly proud of Evergreen’s accomplishment of playing such a large role in the world of real estate and being recognized by some of the largest landlords and corporations in NYC and continuing to be considered for major projects.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? I encourage women to consider the diversity, inclusivity, and overall attitude of a company as it may impact their own career and future.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My Dad. He not only taught me how to build but also instilled in me confidence, determination, strength, and how to be a leader.
