
New York, NY The Women of Color and Capital (WOCXC) Conference powered by Avant-Garde Network, connecting diverse women entrepreneurs and professionals to learn about money, finance, business capital and investing from a 360-degree lens, is hosting its 4th annual conference from October 13 - 15, 2022 at Columbia University. Attendees will participate in three days of keynotes, masterclasses, panels, recruiting and networking at Columbia University. All sessions will be in-person and virtual.
On Friday, October 14, a session on Real Estate and Wealth Creation will be moderated by Chichi Anyoku, chief of staff, Catalyst Housing Group, and feature panelists Sonya Rocvil, principal and founder, Bedrock Real Estate Investors; Alexis McSween, founder and CEO, Bottom Line Construction & Development LLC; and the founder and CEO of the WOCXC Conference, Adeola Adejobi, also founder and CEO of Avant-Garde Network and the annual Diversity in Commercial Real Estate (DCRE) Conference. Other sessions focus on related topics including Venture Capital: Access and Opportunities; Women as Investors; How to Build Generational Wealth; and Fund Management.

Over the past four years, WOCXC has gathered over 2,500 diverse professionals and business owners to participate in the preeminent conference focused on creating capital and investment opportunities for diverse women nationwide. WOCXC is a Black woman-led initiative where a global collection of financiers, entrepreneurs and professionals share a wealth of financial knowledge.
