Wehner of Passero named president-elect of Rochester AIA; Lia of Passero becomes licensed PE

According to Passero Associates, Peter Wehner, AIA, LEED AP BD+C has been voted president-elect of the American Institute of Architects Rochester Chapter for 2013. After one year as president-elect, Wehner will serve as president of the chapter in 2014. Wehner serves as senior project architect for Passero. He is a seasoned veteran with over 26 years of architectural experience in various types of projects including real estate development, general construction, design-build, and new and renovation projects. He holds a Masters of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from Clemson University. Wehner also serves as president of the Irondequoit Planning Board. Additionally, Passero congratulates airport design engineer Allison Lia on achieving a personal and professional milestone by passing the professional engineer exam to become a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York. Lia is a design engineer in the aviations services group. She works on commercial and general aviation airport improvement projects. She has seven years of experience and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. Passero Associates is an 80+ person, full-service professional consulting firm providing planning, engineering, architectural design, sustainability, surveying, program management and construction administration services in New York, Florida, and the eastern U.S.
