USAA's Datran Center earns Gold LEED EBOM

The Datran Center has officially received a Gold-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings (LEED EBOM) award from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The the USAA-owned facility is one of few select buildings to earn the distinction of USGBC LEED EBOM Gold certification in the state of Florida, as well as one of the first in Downtown Dadeland. This accomplishment is not just a culmination of the efforts of everyone on the team, but is indicative of the unified efforts of supportive tenants in the Datran Center. "LEED EBOM, coupled with our Energy Star Label and other associated improvements represents our efforts to drive the business case for efficiency and sustainability," said Pat Duncan, Chairman and CEO of USAA Real Estate Company.
