TransUnion signs 30,140 s/f at The Durst Organizations 1155 Ave. of The Americas

Manhattan, NY TransUnion, a global information and insights company, has signed a lease with The Durst Organization for the entire 30,140 s/f sixth floor at 1155 Ave. of the Americas to accommodate its New York-based associates, visiting executives and clients. The floor is a DurstReady space — Durst’s turnkey office product featuring fully furnished, wired, and move-in ready offices designed for immediate occupancy.

The Durst Organization was represented in house by Tom Bow, Rocco Romeo, and Nora Caliban. TransUnion was represented by David Wilson, Jonathan Zeitler, Mike McKenna and Barry Spagna of Cresa in addition to TransUnion director of Real Estate Harriet Gleason.

With over 13,000 associates operating in more than 30 countries, TransUnion helps make trust possible with a commitment to ensure every individual is reliably represented in global commerce. Through acquisitions and technology investments, TransUnion has developed innovative solutions that extend beyond its foundations of credit reporting such as marketing, fraud, risk and advanced analytics.

“Tenants continue to seek out the prime location and high-quality transformation of 1155 Ave. of the Americas. Within the property, our DurstReady suites address a clear market demand for move-in ready space that enables companies to focus on their business rather than buildouts. We look forward to welcoming TransUnion to 1155,” said Jody Durst, resident of The Durst Organization.

“Our move to 1155 Ave. of the Americas empowers our people to do their best work — together. By using spaces that are authentically designed to accelerate collaboration, client connection and innovation, we’re advancing TransUnion’s Workforce for Good ethos and delivering Information for Good for consumers and businesses every day. DurstReady’s modern, move-in-ready design helps us work more efficiently and adapt quickly as our teams’ needs evolve, with its solutions supporting our sustainability and cost efficiency goals too,” said Damon Ascolani, SVP, Head of Global Procurement, Facilities & Real Estate, TransUnion.

1155 Ave. of the Americas, a 42-story office tower in Midtown, stands on the western blockfront of Ave. of the Americas between 44th and 45th St., within the highly desirable Bryant Park submarket. The Durst Organization completed a $130 million transformation at the property with significant architectural enhancements including a landscaped entry plaza on West 44th St., an award-winning light-filled lobby with reception desks clad in distinctive back-lit sea glass, turnstile security access, destination dispatch elevator controls, newly appointed elevator cabs, and luminous chamfered corners featuring 9’ tall windows on all four corners of the tower floors.

DurstReady merges the convenience of turnkey private office spaces with the esteemed service, reputation, and dependability of a century-old, family-operated real estate enterprise. The move-in ready private offices with flexible lease terms are meticulously designed and fully wired for immediate use.
