EG TAX to offer annual income tax course beginning in Oct.

Tonawanda, NY EG TAX will offer its annual income tax course beginning this October, providing participants with an opportunity to develop a broader understanding of federal tax law and gain practical experience in tax preparation.

The 12-week course is designed to provide instruction on the fundamentals and applications of the tax code, including tax considerations relevant to real estate ownership and transactions. For real estate professionals, a stronger understanding of tax strategies can provide additional insight when working with buyers, sellers, investors and property owners.

Real estate is among the asset classes that can provide significant tax benefits to property owners. Understanding available deductions and other provisions of the tax code can help real estate professionals better communicate with clients and recognize opportunities where tax considerations may factor into a transaction.

Classes will be offered both in person and online, with multiple classroom locations throughout Western New York. Participants will learn from accredited tax professionals and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a novice tax accountant.

According to EG TAX, the program is also designed for individuals interested in developing tax preparation skills as an additional area of professional expertise and potential income.

EG TAX operates more than 30 offices throughout Western New York and prepares more than 40,000 tax returns annually.

Registration for the October course is currently open. For additional information or to register, visit egtax.com or call 716-632-7886.
