The Corcoran Group 2012 Awards Ceremony honors top agents

The Corcoran Group hosted its annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013. Guests attending the event included over 800 agents and employees who celebrated at a cocktail reception following the awards ceremony which was held at hip Meatpacking restaurant and club, Ajna. Pamela Liebman, Corcoran president and CEO, kicked off the evening by applauding Corcoran agents and employees for a year of remarkable achievement as 2012 ranked as "one of the best years in Corcoran's history." Citing multiple examples of extraordinary success and milestones, including "the $54 million dollar, record-breaking sale price for a Manhattan co-op set by a Corcoran team of agents," Liebman congratulated everyone in helping Corcoran attain a "47% market share of the $20 million + listings for the past two years" and for Corcoran being "ranked No. 1 in New York listings, No. 1 in New York sales volume and for the fifth-year in a row, having more agents recognized in the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends top 1000 real estate professionals than any other firm in America." Corcoran executive vice president and director of sales, Tresa Hall, joined Liebman in announcing the 2012 award winners as follows: Carrie Chiang/Janet Wang were named Corcoran 2012 Top Grossing Team of the Year for sales in excess of $4 million. Wendy Sarasohn won Manhattan Sales Person of the Year and The Noble Black Team, The Deborah Grubman and Bonnie Pfeiffer Evans shared the Corcoran Deal of the Year award. Deborah Rieders won Brooklyn Sales Person of the Year, and Jim Cornell and Leslie Marshall were named Brooklyn Team of the Year. Louis Buckworth won the Rising Star Award and Jeb Hart was named Rookie of the Year. The Corcoran Sunshine Sales Team of the Year award was won by The Aldyn sales team of Larry Kruysman, Sabrina Radoncic and Carley Saster under the leadership of Senior Managing Director, Beth Fisher. The Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group held its own annual sales presentation at an earlier time where President, Kelly Mack, toasted the over $1 billion in new development sales handled by the firm in 2012.
